How do I know I'm saved?
Ephesians 2: 8-9
For it is by grace you are saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. not by works, so that no one can boast.
grace = The undeserved gift from God

faith = trusting in God to save you because of Jesus' sacrifice

works = doing good deeds obeying religious laws.

Are you trusting in Jesus or trusting in religious behavior?



1 John 5:12
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life
What does this verse say?


1 John 5:13
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
What does the word "know" tell us?

Does God want you to "think" "hope" or "know" that you are saved?


Romans 10:11
As the scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
Trusting in Jesus = getting saved. Have you ever prayed to receive Jesus as your Lord and savior? Or do you just sort of go to church sometimes?

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
