Ventura County Crosswalk 2005
The Crosswalk is an annual 13 mile walk from Channel Island’s Vineyard Church in Oxnard to the historic cross in Grant Park in Ventura. Youth take turns carrying a life-sized cross to commemorate Jesus’ sacrifice for us 2000 years ago. About 150 people participated from a number of area churches, including Channel Island's Vineyard, South Coast Fellowship, First Baptist Church El Rio, The Worship Center, and First Baptist Camarillo.

Note: This all happened because of what Jesus did for you. He carried His cross for a much shorter distance, but His crosswalk was the real deal. It was up a hill to His own crucifiction. Always remember!
